Plot

The unsuspecting residents of the country house are Professor Goldsmith, an intelligent and cunning individual, and his wife. The trio of robbers, disguised as travelers, manage to gain entry by posing as weary visitors seeking shelter from a storm. However, their sinister intentions are quickly discovered, and the couple reveals themselves to be more resourceful than they initially seemed. As the robbers attempt to assert their dominance, Professor Goldsmith employs his cleverness to turn the tables on them. He uses his knowledge of mechanics and engineering to create an elaborate trap, ensnaring the would-be thieves in a series of increasingly absurd and humiliating predicaments. The situation becomes more complex as the robbers' leader, who is determined to complete their mission and claim the goldsmith's valuable treasure, refuses to give up. The Professor, meanwhile, uses his wit and cunning to outsmart each new attempt at robbery, leading to a series of hilarious and chaotic events. As the battle of wits reaches its climax, the robbers find themselves caught in an ever-tightening web of traps and misunderstandings.
